The customer’s core business is providing comprehensive technological infrastructure for operating radio, cable, and internet stations. They approached Edhouse with a request to analyze a new web application designed for survey data collection. The main priority of the analysis was to assess security and identify potential risks, particularly regarding internet-based attacks and service disruptions.
At Edhouse, we carried out a technical assessment of the current state. We focused on identifying vulnerabilities within the environment configuration, explored the use of advanced security services in Azure (such as Azure Firewall, Azure Web Application Firewall, Azure Front Door, or Application Gateway), and compared costs with a custom solution that makes more efficient use of resources.
As a result, the customer gained actionable recommendations and a solid basis for strengthening security, as well as a clearer overview of the application’s current state.
