Have you invested into the development of a new product or functionality, but users ended up disappointed? Would you like to understand them better? UX design is a process of planning user experience when interacting with your product. UI design on the other hand is focused on its aesthetics and how it faces the user.
For a product to be successful, it must do its best to fulfill user needs. In Edhouse, thanks to plenty of experience with the development of software products, we know that putting the needs of users first pays off. We know many tricks for collecting and sorting their wishes. At the same time, we can quickly roll out a prototype they can get their hands on. User research
For us the user requirements represent the most valuable input into the development process. We take great care to carefully listen to their needs, making sure to understand them. We can effectively sort their suggestions by modelling individual personas. To put everything into context, we like to create a UX benchmark to serve as a clear reference for the process by studying comparable products and alternatives.
UX Design
Whatever the scope of changes you are planning for the users, we believe that it is best to follow a comprehensive plan. Such a plan should include not only an idea of how the UI should look like, but most importantly how the features will be used (UX). We can take care of a solid information architecture by describing individual scenarios and putting together affinity maps. You will get a good overview of the proposed changes even before a prototype is made.
UI Design and Prototyping
UX is not our only strength, we can take of UI design equally well. We cannot imagine creating the design without allowing clients to interact with it. Depending on the complexity of the case, we can build a prototype with tools like Miro, Figma, Balsamiq or Lovable and have you try it out right away. You will not need to wait for some far-off future date to see the design just to find out that it has completely missed your expectations.
Graphic Design and Typography
We are prepared to complement the user interface design by defining a fitting visual style. We can take care of the graphic design of the individual UI elements and ensure the typographical correctness of the content presentation. Thanks to these skills, we can offer a more comprehensive service.
Design Evaluation
We do not consider our work over when we hand off a design to the client. To constantly improve, we need to know if our suggestions benefited the product. With the help of techniques like heatmaps or usability testing, we collect feedback from end users. We use it to evaluate the success of changes applied and looping back into the development process. By performing a so called UX Audit, we can evaluate also products that we haven’t seen before.
Development
Thanks to our own application development capacities, we are prepared to start building according to the prepared blueprint. We can develop mobile, web or desktop applications. Since the design will be handed to a development team internally, you will save a lot of time, and your functionality will reach the market faster.
