Strengthening Security with ISO 27001

In April, we successfully passed the audit and obtained ISO 27001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for information security management. The certification confirms that we have established processes, rules, and technical measures to ensure maximum protection of company, customer, and personal data. At a time of increasing cyber threats and growing demands on information handling, we see information security as one of the key pillars of a modern technology company.
As a software development company, we work with a large amount of sensitive data, customer know-how, and technological solutions that require a high level of security. For us, information security is therefore not only about technology, but also about properly configured processes, risk management, and the responsible approach of all employees.
“Technology companies today carry great responsibility for their customers’ data and systems. ISO 27001 is not just a formal certification for us, but confirmation that we approach information security systematically and with a long-term perspective. For our customers, it is a guarantee that their data and projects are managed according to clearly defined security standards,” says Pavel Stržínek, co-owner of Edhouse, highlighting the importance of the certification.
ISO 27001 now complements the ISO 9001 certification we had already obtained earlier, which focuses on quality management and service processes. The combination of both certifications confirms that we place emphasis not only on the high quality of the solutions we deliver, but also on data security, process stability, and trustworthiness towards our customers and partners. For our clients, this is an important assurance that they are working with a partner who continuously develops and regularly verifies its processes through independent audits.
